The client’s desire was for a building which would support a blend of multiple healthcare professionals working together, providing optimal patient-centered care within a new state-of-the art facility in downtown Lethbridge. The existing single-storey structure & basement was completely renovated and a second floor was added.

The 1,650sm facility supports healthcare professionals including massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, physiotherapy, psychology, dental, family & GI specialty medical, pharmacy, and supervised childcare.

Each floor provides barrier-free access with a newly installed elevator and provides waiting areas, where support staff can direct patients accordingly. The new second floor offers staff access to lockers, a lunchroom, boardroom, and large private balcony area.
The building’s modern design provides clean lines, large roof overhangs, flat and mono sloping roof elements, and large curtain walls along the south & west building elevations. The exterior finishes include brick, aluminum curtain walls & glazing, smooth metal panels, EFIS stucco system as well as glass railing. The project also utilized a DIRTT wall system, which provides a modular assembly which can be relocated, reused and amended to fit the form and function of the space.
